About Me

About Me
I don't intend to make living in NYC my entire personality, but if I do, could you really blame me?

Hi, I'm Anvesha.

I collect hobbies, pivots, and strong opinions about small details. And, at any given moment, I never have more than 5 tabs open. (humble brag).

Also, hot take, but I hate New York pizzas.

I'm almost 29 and I meow at my dad.

.....And he meows back. My mom copes with all this and is the sweetest angel. I have super cool parents.

ANYWAY,
Here is a LONG VERSION of me because the short version is basically called a resume which I have linked down below.

I'll start off by talking about the things that I love:
Racquet sports - district Ping Pong player, National level badminton, quite proficient at Pickleball, and I loooovvvveeee to skate but I haven't in the longest time. It all started off when my mom pushed me into Tennis around the age of 7, I guess (my socks smelled and I got quite a tan, but I still thank her for it).

I'm an absolute sucker for product and marketing knick-knacks. Yesss, tell me how someone at Apple decided deleting an app should make it wiggle like it's scared OR tell me how someone at L'Oréal convinced F1 to let them sponsor a team so now I'm watching grown men in firesuits sell me shampoo at 200mph.

Which brings me to- I love F1 BUT I'm a Ferrari fan... which has been kick in the a** for QUITE A LONG TIME NOW but hey! Hamilton was on the podium in the chinese GP of 2026 season, so maybe??? there is some respite??? or too soon to hope? Anyway, fandom is a fandom. Forza Ferrari. (miss you, Carlos).

I love quizzing (though I do think AI has taken the fun out of it). I used to be an Olympiad champion, but then life happened and Hackathons took over.

Mandala colouring makes me happy. A scented candle, a dim yellow light, and all my overwhelming thoughts (I think I have ADHD—I'm not sure though. But I do function like that. And social media hasn't done a whole lotta good to our attention spans either) - atleast if nothing, I do get an aesthetic picture out of it.

I think I overshare. Couldn't tell, could you? 🙃

(A cool sign off),
Anvesha

The career ZIG and ZAG:

My path hasn't been straight.
Kota. IIT wasn't in the cards—but other things were.

B.Tech in Computer Science. Then content writing → social media marketing → content strategy → freelancing → product marketing → product management.

Each pivot taught me something. The chaos of figuring things out. Leading through ambiguity (something my anxious brain had a hard time adjusting to). Saying "I can give this a shot". Taking up more than I thought I could chew, but then figuring it out.

I'm an international student, graduated from NYU in May 2025 with an MS in Management and Systems. Looking for a full-time role in product management, marketing, strategy, or ops.

I'm industry agnostic. I've worked across fraud prevention, loyalty rewards, data infrastructure, time-series forecasting. The domain changes—the craft doesn't. I care about getting introduced to new, niche things people need or pre-empt their intent to future need, learning how to build that thing, for those same people to go "I needed that!".

What drives me: building something that leaves a dent.

Longer term, I want a seat at the big table. For the craft—and for the title. Learning the ins and outs of product as a concept, as a study, as a discipline. Understanding how decisions get made at scale. How to strategize with your second AI brain.

I understand algorithms. I can talk to engineers without being the PM they complain about in their Slack channel. And I always want to lead teams that ship things that matter.
